My mom gives me dried shiitake mushrooms and I keep them in water for a few hours & they're ready to be used!
I'm making turkey pot pie tomorrow & I put shiitake mushrooms in them sometimes. Probably makes them very expensive, but i LOVE shiitake mushrooms!

Aww, those Shiitakes look so cute floating in the water! What else did you make with your Shiitake mushrooms? I have a friend who makes tea out of them. She’s following ancient recipes made by the Chinese and the Japanese. After all, their recipes lasted thousands of years, which mean that they are very effective!
