wedding feast

Suziesaurus is right - we HAVE been absent from this poor little food blog for way too long! I'm going to make it a early New Year's resolution to start posting more often. I mean, I'm eating, reading cookbooks and cooking all the time - I have no excuse why I'm not sharing it all here!

So, here's a great way to get back into the swing of things! I played "food photographer" at Suziesaurus' wedding back in September where we had a super-yummy reception at the stylish Toronto restaurant Lai Toh Heen.

Considering it was my first time into the foray of "food porn", I think I did pretty well...

An arrangement of diced fresh fruit salad, lobster presented in a papaya bowl, strawberry dressing

Shark's fin soup with seafood medley & bamboo pith

Steamed live fish

Deep-fried twin lobsters with toasted garlic & chili bulb

Braised sliced abalone & vegetables in oyster sauce

Truffle scented crispy chicken

Seafood fried rice wrapped in lotus leaf

Braised e-fu noodles with crab meat

Senses pastry & Chinese dessert pastries
